| The department Remote Sensing and GIS at the Institute of Digital Image Processing is concentrating first on the development of new application methods and technologies for inventorying natural resources, vegetation damage and natural risks and secondly on the development of algorithms for the classification of natural resources, landscape structures as well as for the geometrical processing of all kind of remote sensing data. Remote sensing data respectively their classification results are integrated in GIS analyses. A further research initiative concentrates on data visualization and multimedia-presentation. | |
