As it has been already mentioned NTUA undertakes with increasing frequency scientific and research projects financed by the Directorates of the European Commission, the General Secretariat of Research and Technology, Ministries, Public Corporations, Prefectures, Municipalities and the private sector from Greece and abroad.

The user goals and requirements within the GlobWave project are:

• Time series of Hs, mean energy period, mean direction, wave slope, and/or 2-D directional spectra.
• Satellite wind and wave spectral parameters dynamically extracted over regions of interest (HR-DDS?)
• Extraction of "partial moments spectra"
• Data structures should be implemented in XML
