| The Institute for Coastal Research of GKSS is involved in
developing monitoring techniques including measurements,
data and information management and modelling. Another
part of the institute is involved in climate studies of coastal
zones.
A major program, funded by the Ministry of Research and Education, is COSYNA (Coastal Observation System for Northern and Arctic Seas). This will include the full chain from mainly automatic measurement systems incl. Ferryboxes, data processing, modelling, data assimilation, statistics and web based information services. |
