| Belgium officially announces his participation to DUP-2 at the last meeting of the ESA Earth Observation Program Board (PB-EO). | |
| The Belgian delegation, represented at ESA by its Federal Office for Scientific, Technical and Cultural Affairs (OSTC), has officially announced at the last Earth Observation Programme Board (PB-EO) that Belgium will contribute to the second phase of the Data User Programme with a subscription of 4% of the total financial envelope .
The delegations of the other participating countries had already confirmed in 2000 their subscription to the financial envelope of the second period of the DUP programme to 15% (Italy), 4% (Netherlands) and 3.74% (Switzerland). National Contact Point:
