2nd DUP-2 Call For Proposals is now open for competitive tender

The Invitation To Tender (ITT) on "DUP-2, 2nd Call for Proposals (2002)", Ref. AO4159 in the ESA Invitations to Tender has been published on EMITS on 7 March 2002 with a closing date of 2 May 2002.
The European Space Agency (ESA) hereby invites all companies from DUP participating countries to submit a tender for the above subject.
If companies are not yet registered as an ESA bidder, they are invited to obtain access to EMITS by completing a questionnaire which can be found at the indicated URL ESA Bidder request , section Request for a temporary ESA bidder code.
When returning the questionnaire companies shall make sure they refer to the ESABD code (ESA bidders data reference).
This second DUP2 Invitation To Tender is calling for the development of five "large scale" Demonstration projects.
GLOBCARBON:whereby companies are invited to develop and demonstrate a service for the production of multiyear Global Level 3 Land Products for Carbon model assimilation using as input ATSR, MERIS, VEGETATION and AVHRR instruments data.
DUP DEM WITH ERS AND SRTM (DUDES):whereby companies are invited to produce the Digital Elevation Model of DUP countries using SRTM and ERS SAR data.
KYOTO INVENTORY: whereby companies are invited to develop and demonstrate a set of representative national services for the reporting to UNFCCC within the Kyoto protocol mainframe using high resolution optical imagery from SPOT and/or LANDSAT and possibly ERS SAR /ENVISAT ASAR.
RAPID MAPPING SERVICE (RMS): whereby companies are invited to develop and run a
demonstration service for Rapid Mapping dedicated to humanitarian aid and civil protection types of activity, based on ERS SAR, ENVISAT ASAR, SPOT, RADARSAT and IRS instruments data.
TROPOSPHERE EMISSION SERVICE (TEMIS) : whereby companies are invited to develop and run a European / Global service of trace gases emission monitoring based on ERS GOME and ENVISAT SCIAMACHY instrument data
