| Lindau is a German city and an island in the eastern part of the Lake Constance, the Obersee. It is located in the Bundesland of Bavaria and is also capital of the district of Lindau. The historic city of Lindau is located on the 0.68 km² island which is connected with the mainland by a bridge and a railway dam.
The Drainage Administration of Lindau is in charge for the planning, design, construction and maintenance of the City of Lindau storm drainage and sewage system, as well as of waste water treatment utilities. The City has the responsibility to protect their water bodies according to the “Bodenseerichtlinieâ€, a international regulation of the adjacent states of Lake Constance. |
