Medias-France

Médias-France support research projects on regional and global environment, from sustainable development point of view, particularly within the Mediterranean Basin (MEDI) and Subtropical Africa (AS), in cooperation with national (Eclipse, GICC, IFB, ORE, RTE, Zones-Ateliers) and international (IGBP, WCRP, IHDP, Diversitas, FP6) programs.

In France, seven institutions (CNES, CNRS, IRD, METEO-FRANCE, Toulouse University, CLS and SPOT-IMAGE) are supporting a public, non-profit corporation, headquartered in Toulouse, called Medias-France, with a view to co-ordinate French contributions within the network. Medias-France works in close collaboration with national laboratories and many other partners in France and abroad.

Medias-France provides support to national and international global change research projects and serves as a permanent secretariat for the Medias network.
