Company
PCI Geomatics is a world leading developer of Geomatics software (geographic modeling, measurement, analysis, and output) and solutions based on its remote sensing, digital photogrammetry, spatial analysis, and cartographic editing programs. It designs software that provides the broadest range of functionality, using remote sensing and digital photogrammetry data, as well as data visualisation techniques. This software operates on the most extensive list of computer platforms in the industry. Professionals and scientists requiring resource analysis and mapping applications in operations responsible for monitoring the Earth and its resources are the main users of the company's software.

The company is a privately held Canadian Corporation headquartered in the Toronto area with another large facility in the National Capital Region (Ottawa). Its software products and solutions are distributed through a direct sales force, international resellers, and third party developers.

Founded in 1982, PCI Geomatics began building and shipping Geomatics software to clients around the world when the industry was still young and the potential of geospatial information was just beginning to be realized. Since then, the company and its reputation have continued to grow as a result of innovative leadership, active Geomatics community involvement, and a strong dedication to earn the trust of customers using PCI Geomatics technology.

PCI Geomatics has significant expertise in the Radar processing domain having successfully completed 10+ contracts for the Canadian Space Agency and The Canada Centre for Remote Sensing in all areas of SAR analysis and processing. Currently, PCI is in the process of developing a “polarimetric workstation” for the Canadian Space Agency to support the multi-polarimetric sensor on RADARSAT-II.
