| Steinbeis FeLis was founded as a spin-off of the University-department FeLis at the University of Freiburg. The objective of Steinbeis FeLis is the transfer of the research results into applications. Today the work has branched out to all fields of spatial information systems and advanced visualisation. Spatial information systems cover all kind of remote sensing systems, from airborne to space borne, as well as terrestric photogrammetry and spatial information applications based on GIS or CAD software, not only for mapping but also to process models and decision tool. In the frame of spatial information systems also advanced visualisation based on 3-D data has developed as a major topic. | |
