| The research activities of the Remote Sensing Research Group at the Department of Geography, University of Berne concentrate on the application and processing of medium resolution sensors like NOAA-AVHRR and DMSP-OLS. Former activities focused on snow hydrology and runoff modelling. Currently, the major topics are environmental monitoring of the Alps (i.e. snow cover, land surface temperature, vegetation indices, aerosol and light pollution). | |
