The objective of this project was the definition of a service for landslide hazard monitoring and risk assessment based on the needs at the user end. A new method was proposed combining two complementary techniques, the DInSAR method and a multivariate statistical approach. This hybrid method uses as input parameter maps (slope, slope length, land use, geomorphology, geology) derived partially from remote sensing observations and landslide inventory and activity maps derived from historical aerial photos as well as from DInSAR products. |
