| The North Rhine-Westphalia State Environment Agency (LUA NRW) is a state supervising authority in the portfolio of the NRW Ministry for Environment and Nature Protection, Agriculture and Consumer Protection in Düsseldorf. With over 650 employees - of which approx. 130 hold academic degrees in natural and engineering-scientific disciplines - the agency provides the expertise in engineering and science needed by the state legislative and executive bodies. The LUA NRW deals with the technical aspects of environmental protection for industry, trade and the municipalities in the fields of water, soil, air, solid wastes and contaminated sites. |
