BEV

The Federal Office of Metrology and Surveying (BEV, Bundesamt für Eich- und Vermessungswesen) is the Austrian national mapping and cadastral agency (NMCA) responsible for national surveying, geo-information as well as maintenance of the national standards and the realisation of the legal units. It is subordinated to the Federal Ministry of the Economy, Family and Youth (Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft, Familie und Jugend). Its headquarters are located in Vienna and it has 41 offices spread across all Austrian federal states.
